From the outside, CrossFit seems like just a fitness program. Once you enter the community, you learn it’s much more than that.

It’s a way of life. It’s a community. It’s a family. At CrossFit Lakewood, I consider the athletes I have the honor of working with a part of my extended family, and I think many would say the same about one another.

The impact that CrossFit training has on an individual was taken to the next level in my book this morning, however. The guys at CrossFit Dallas Central shared an incredible video with the world, that almost hits me more every single time I use it. The relationships you can create or develop in the gym go far beyond pushing one another through a difficult lift or challenging workout.

This post is to share a story and video put together by Dean at CFDC on a marriage proposal done at their gym. While I’ve never met Noah or Kelli, I can say from the bottom of my heart, that I wish you two absolutely nothing but the best in your lives together. This moment is beyond awesome.
