I don’t know how to ride a motorcycle. Jason Britton does. He’s kind of good at it, too.

I really liked hearing how he talked about his bike. It reminded me about how we all focus on nutrition in CrossFit, it takes that intimate knowledge of what you’re “fueling” yourself with in order to really hit full stride in performance.

When all is good, you can usually tell. When things don’t go as planned, or you slack on your maintenance (a bad weekend of eating, for example) you can usually tell that, too!

I hope you like the video.

I grew up with a family full of surfers. One of my cousins travels all over the world to surf some of the best waves out there. I have never known anyone crazy enough to try this, though.

This stuff is absolutely breathtaking.

(p.s.- Slow Motion makes everything cooler. Everything.)

Here’s the text that accompanies the video from Chris Bryan’s Vimeo profile:

“This day at Teahupoo- Aug 27th 2011 during the Billabong Pro waiting period is what many are calling the biggest and gnarliest Teahupoo ever ridden. Chris Bryan was fortunate enough to be there working for Billabong on a day that will go down in the history of big wave surfing. The French Navy labeled this day a double code red prohibiting and threatening to arrest anyone that entered the water.
Kelly Slater described the day by saying “witnessing this was a draining feeling being terrified for other people’s lives all day long, it’s life or death. Letting go of that rope one time can change your life and not many people will ever experience that in their life.”

****NOTE*****
Within the hour that I posted the video, it vanished from the page! The link below does take you to another version of it, though. Sorry for the confusion!

More Surfing Videos

Back on December 26th, I created a post talking about Red Bull’s big show they had planned for New Year’s Eve. If you missed it, check out that post by clicking here!

Now it’s time to show you guys the finished product. Did Levi and Robby make THE JUMP!? Find out!!

My buddy Chris posted this on Facebook today, and I started off feeling pretty “blah” about the video. Sure, I’ve never gone skydiving. Sure, I will at some point in my life, and I DO think it’s really cool. But it just didn’t hit me right away.

But then I stopped and thought about WHAT these guys are doing; Falling through the air performing amazing choreography. The precision required to practice some of these moves is INCREDIBLE. Remember that part about them free-falling through the sky? Yeah, I guess I did for a second.

So for the last 3/4 of the video I just sat with my jaw open. This is really cool stuff!!

Another awesome version of this video! The music makes it even more “epic”.

(Even cooler since they are pulling from a lot of the videos I’ve posted over the past few months!)

This post is most definitely for my crew at ApresPowder!  Wow.
CrossFit, Smashby Training, Shock and Awe

I don't even know what to say....

Got this video from Alec Hanson and it is ridiculous.

Question #1 – Who are these kids.
Question #2 – Which one of them went… “Let’s get good at something! Like… reallllly good. How about a POGO STICK!”

Awesome stuff!

A little something for everyone today (if everyone likes Extreme Sports in HD… AND slow motion).

Oh, and yes. You CAN buy this for me for Christmas.

Just shoot me an email and I’ll give you the shipping address. Thanks so much! 🙂

This video is awesome.

Sergio, yeah I’m talking to you, Nazzaro. Try to tell me you DON’T like this Urban Skiing video. It’s definitely the coolest segment I’ve ever seen.

C’mon, snow in the mountains!!

Yesterday’s video that I posted was part 1 of a series. Today, you get part 2!
They come from a series of videos from the “Betty Wants In” Vimeo channel, and feature a lot of things I really like.

Extreme Sports. Slow Motion. Skydiving. (even though I’ve never jumped out of a perfectly good plane before)

It’s called “Experience Zero Gravity“, and like yesterday’s video, has some epic stuff.
