I have always loved uplifting stories about “Ordinary People” who do extraordinary things.

This video shows the story of a man, who with a little ingenuity, has been able to literally brighten lives of people in his village.

If you know about stories like this, please email them to me. I would love to continue posting amazing stories like this!

Do you guys like seeing things like this?

THANK YOU to my friend Taylor for sending this video to me. The folks over at Vooray may just have a little TOOO epic of a life.

I’m just kidding. It looks like they’re just about as Epic as they need to be.

This may be one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen!

The Moment of Awesomeness posts promised to go from the dirt, to the snow, to the city streets this week. Today is day three, so let’s get back on the asphalt!

Danny MacAskill is hands down one of the best trial riders in the world. The video description for the one posted below actually says, “For Danny, the city is one enormous playground.” If you don’t believe it, just watch.

His precision, body control, and self-awareness is just incredible if you watch some of his moves through Capetown on that bike of his. So cool!

Some of you may be saying to yourselves, “Dude, all of these videos you’re posting have something helping people move. Bikes, Skiis, Snowboards… What about the art of just moving your own body?” If you are… stop being ungrateful. These videos are still cool. But if you’re serious, check out another Parkour/Free Running video that I’ve shared with you guys before.

Just like the mountain bikers from a few days ago, these kids look SO YOUNG to me, but there’s doubting how incredible they are at what they do! Hope you guys have a great day!

This week, our Moment of Awesomeness posts are going all over the place. In fact, we’re going to go from the dirt, to the snow, to the city streets. I hope you guys like the series over the next three days!

First is a video I know I’ve shared before, but now it’s been added to my “favorites” on my Smashby Training YouTube page for easy access whenever!

As far as I’m concerned, these incredible athletes look like they’re 12 years old… but there is NO question that these guys are amazing at what they do! Enjoy.

Then there’s video, and with how EPIC some of these hits are, I’m shocked it doesn’t have more views. Some of this stuff is insane!

As beautiful as that video was, these extreme athletes don’t always get it right the first time. Check out the trailer for the video “Dust and Bones” that was released on the Red Bull YouTube page a few years back. The description of the video is one of my favorite parts:

“Brought to you by our friends at Freeride Entertainment, the trailer for the latest NWD film will probably give you a concussion.”

“Incredible Athletes” posts continue with one of my favorite clips of the last few years.

I don’t think that a single athlete has made my jaw drop during a single event than when I first saw Usain Bolt come onto the scene. The power he produces is unmatched, and there are a lot of people who think he will only get faster.

This is some SPEEED!

Now that I’ve had 3 days in a row of “Extreme Sports” Moments of Awesomeness, I felt it was time to bring it back to some incredible Weight Lifting clips.

This video below (that I got from Zach’s facebook page) is from the 1996 Olympics, and features what is, in my opinion, the most epic Weight Lifting battle of all-time. Watch below as Valerios Leonidis and Naim Suleymanoglu go head-to-head.

There were 4 World Records broken in less than 5 minutes between them! Love this.

I said yesterday that I wasn’t ready for summer to be over, and I was serious. Greg is actually in Costa Rica for a few weeks working Surf Camps, and I’m wishing I was there daily!

If you’ve never tried to surf before, this won’t be AS cool to you, but if you have ever been out in the ocean and tried to paddle into the perfect spot of a wave… some of these clips are unreal!

Enjoy!

Jack (from ApresPowder.com) just sent me this link, and I don’t even know what to say… this is unreal.

I’m still LOVING summer, and I don’t want the warm temperature to end, but when winter rolls around I will be ready. So cool!

I have never learned how to ride a motorcycle. In fact, if my memory serves me right, I’ve never even been ON a motorcycle as an adult.

But watching these dudes at the X-Games do things like this is UNREAL! I don’t know how you even start THINKING about these trips, but Bravo to these amazing riders. This stuff is cool.

I saw this link posted from a friend on Facebook today, and just had to share it with you guys.

Some people call “Sepak Takraw” the “Toughest Sport in the World”. I won’t necessarily agree with that, BUT… these guys are incredible athletes! Check out a quote from this article that explains a little more about the sport.

How about a little volleyball this summer?
How about not using your hands or arms?
Say what?
Say hello to Sepak Takraw, a sport so impossible that a pickup game between you and your friends would almost undoubtedly end in a 0-0 tie.
